Multiple Shootings in Cleveland Leave 9 Wounded and 1 Dead, Manhunt Underway
Cleveland : In a series of tragic incidents, a total of 14 individuals were shot in three separate shootings in Cleveland early Sunday morning, resulting in one fatality. The first shooting took place in the 2500 block of W 6th Street, where multiple individuals were shot. One man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, another sought medical attention at the emergency room in serious condition, and a third individual arrived at the hospital in a private vehicle. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with this incident.
Shortly after the first shooting, police received another distress call reporting several individuals shot at the intersection of West 6th Street and Johnson Court. According to law enforcement, a suspect fired shots at a group of people before fleeing the scene. Nine individuals sustained gunshot wounds in this incident. Officers were quick to respond, providing immediate medical aid to the victims. Investigators are diligently examining evidence, reviewing video footage, and interviewing the victims, who are currently receiving treatment at MetroHealth Medical Center. Reports initially indicated that at least one person was critically injured, while others sustained serious and minor injuries. The suspect remains at large, and authorities are actively conducting a manhunt to apprehend the individual responsible.
In a separate shooting incident at E. 112th and Benham, two people were shot around 3:20 a.m. Unfortunately, one person succumbed to their injuries, while the other was transported to the hospital for medical care.
