We have been going to Salou for a few years now, sometimes 4 times a year. Never noticed any smells at all. No worse than any other resort town. All the resorts I've been to have the occasional whiff now and again (nothing to do with me I promise).

It runs from the end of the beach and is lined with fun bars and clubs. This street and the immediate surrounding area is known locally as 'Slammers'.
