Why has TFGM charged me? TfGM may charge a passenger with an incomplete journey fare if they touched in, but did not touch out, to mark the end of their journey with Metrolink.

How do I get my money back from TFGM?

Ticket refunds If you buy a ticket valid for 7 days or more and want to cancel it before the start date, we will consider giving a refund on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us on 0161 244 1000 to ask about having your ticket refunded.


What happens if you forget to tap your card when you get off the bus?

If you don't have a default set on your card and you forget to tap off at the end of your trip, you'll be charged the fare to the last stop on the train line or bus route and with your fare type and any applicable loyalty discounts applied.


What happens if you dont pay Metrolink fine?

If you don't pay within 21 days, Metrolink will start legal proceedings to recover the money you owe and the amount due will increase. Please wait 24 hours after receiving the notice before paying the penalty fare.
