Why did Disney get rid of Happily Ever After? The show, which remains extremely popular with Disney fans, was originally suspended due to the pandemic. It was then replaced in late 2021 by Enchantment as part of Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration. The Disney Parks calendar currently displays that the EPCOT Forever fireworks show is scheduled to run through November 23, 2023. However, that is because the Disney Parks calendar currently only runs through that date. It doesn't necessarily mean that is the last date for the show.

Epcot Forever is a temporary show, they run it while they are doing lagoon work so it's short and to the point. It runs at approximately 11 minutes or so each evening, which is perfectly quick for tired families but also may be a bit underwhelming compared to other fireworks spectaculars at Disney.
