Why are drones banned in Grand Canyon? It's an oddity, I researched this when we travelled to the US recently. I hold a FAA permit for my drone and have completed the FAA approved training. The National Parks service will not permit anyone to take off or land a drone within the parks as they don't want to risk scaring animals, fair enough.
