Who goes first uphill or downhill?

Who goes first uphill or downhill? If two vehicles meet on a steep, narrow road and neither vehicle can pass, the vehicle facing uphill has the right of way. The vehicle facing downhill should back up until the vehicle driving uphill can pass.

Why do you go faster when going downhill?

The change in speed on slopes is due to gravity. When going downhill, objects will accelerate (go faster), and when going uphill they will decelerate (slow down). On a flat surface, assuming that there is little friction, they will then maintain a constant speed.
