Where to park for Old town Alcudia? port: there's a fairly large free carpark behind the port. old town alcudia, there's several car parks around the walled town and an overflow carpark on a field (next to the polentia ruins) but not sure if that's just for market days. there's also free street parking around for both.

Palma Nova also offers a lot to take a look at; however Alcudia is perhaps the larger resort. Even so, when you're just going to Majorca for a week, or just need to have a more laid-back setting, Palma Nova may be the more sensible choice.
