You can get an Oyster card:

  • At Oyster Ticket Stops in many newsagents in London.
  • At all Tube, most London Overground and most Elizabeth line stations.

  • At Visitor Centres.
  • At the Tramlink Shop in Croydon.


How much is an Oyster card now?

Visitor Oyster cards you pay an activation fee (£5 in 2023) which is non-refundable. If you buy a standard Oyster card in London or online after 4 September 2022 you now have to pay £7 for the card. This is not a credit to be used against travel, it's the cost of the card now.
