What time do Georgia Southern buses start running? Southern Express does not run when classes are not in session, during campus holidays or between semesters. The service is funded by a transportation fee charged each semester. Buses begin at 7 a.m. on weekdays. After 4 p.m., a reduced number of buses will run the route until 9 p.m., Monday – Thursday.
