What time can pubs serve alcohol in Scotland on a Sunday?

What time can pubs serve alcohol in Scotland on a Sunday? This applies on Sundays as well. While it used to be the case that you couldn't buy alcohol after 12.30pm (i.e. 12.30 in the afternoon) in Scotland, you can now purchase it from 10am to 10pm on any day of the week. Some shops and chains will have their own hours imposing further restrictions however.

Do you tip in Scotland?

There are no hard and fast rules for tipping in Scotland. If you are happy with the service, a 10-15% tip is customary, particularly in a restaurant or café with table service. A tip is not necessary if a service charge has been added to the bill by the establishment.
