Can you take your own food into the Eden Project?

Eat al fresco: There are lots of places to enjoy our takeaway food or your own picnic outdoors in the sun, including the grassy Arena at the centre of the gardens, and the adjacent Orchard. Did you know that the Eden Coffee House in our Visitor Centre now has an outdoor terrace with spectacular views of the Biomes?


How to get cheap entry to Eden Project?

Always buy your tickets for The Eden Project in advance of your visit, as it will be cheaper than paying on the day. If you buy an Advanced Annual Pass at least one day prior to your visit, you will get 10% off the full ticket price.


Is the Eden Project warm inside?

Even on a chilly Cornish morning, the Eden Project can be warm! As you'd expect, the tropical biodome in particular can reach temperatures of up to 35°C! It's therefore recommended you dress in layers that can be easily added and removed.


How long should you spend at Eden Project?

Because Eden's plants and exhibits change throughout the seasons and year on year, you could spend a good three to four hours visiting, even if you've been before. Your ticket is valid from your reserved entry slot right up until closing time, so you can stop for as many cups of tea as you'd like.

Is The Eden Project Really Worth It? Yes, we thought so. The Eden Project tickets are expensive but they do double up as an annual pass, we saw this approach to annual ticketing when we visited Bletchley Park. The Eden Project is a great option for a rainy day in Cornwall as there is so much to do undercover.


What not to miss at the Eden Project?

Outdoor Gardens There are different gardens of flowers, fruit, vegetables and play areas for children. Allow about 2 hours to see all of the outdoor gardens. There's a botanical garden featuring plants native to Cornwall, tea bushes from India and Bombus – a giant bee sculpture in a garden of bee loving plants.


Can you take water into Eden sessions?

Reusable water bottles are permitted (which you are able to fill at our free water stations around the site), although we do not allow stainless steel water bottles into the Arena. We do not allow prams and pushchairs on site during Eden Sessions from 6pm onwards.
