There are no spending requirements to reach either of these statuses, just mileage flown requirements. On the other hand, PPS Club status is earned through the amount spent on premium cabins?suites, first and business class.
Is it hard to get KrisFlyer gold?
Qualification requirements. To qualify for KrisFlyer Elite Gold status you'll have to earn at least 50,000 Elite miles in a 12-month period. On reaching this threshold, your account will be upgraded to KrisFlyer Elite Gold status for a minimum of 12 months.
