What is a super off-peak single? Super Off Peak tickets are similar to and cheaper than off peak train tickets, but they come with less flexibility on when you can travel. They offer better value but have with more restrictions on when you can use them to travel. Super Off Peak tickets are available as singles or returns.


Is alcohol free on LNER?

Is Alcohol allowed onboard? You can buy alcohol from our Let's Eat Cafe Bar whilst onboard our trains and if you're in First Class, you can enjoy complimentary drinks. You can also bring your own alcohol onboard. In First Class complimentary alcohol is served from 11:30am (when available).


What happens if I miss my train in the UK?

If you miss the first train on which you are booked for any reason, a new ticket must be purchased. 5.2 If delays occur while travelling, you will be allowed to take the next available train(s) to complete your journey. 5.3 Railcard holders travelling on a discounted ticket must carry their Railcard when they travel.


Can I use my ticket on another train if my train is Cancelled?

If a train is cancelled (and that's what's happened here) you're entitled to take the next train that matches any restrictions on your ticket. So if your ticket is routed via a certain place, you must go that way, or if it's only valid on a certain train company, you must use that companies services.


Can I use a super off peak single on any train?

Off-Peak and Super Off-Peak tickets do not require you to travel on a specific train, only at certain times. So, if your outward travel date remains the same you might not need to pay an additional fare. Off-Peak Day tickets and the outward part of Off-Peak tickets are only valid on the date shown on the ticket.


Can I get a later train with an advance ticket?

Advance train tickets aren't flexible, so you must catch the train specified on your ticket. If you catch an earlier train, you may have to pay additional fees, so please check with ticket staff at the station.


What are peak train times?

Peak fares are charged during business rush hours on any weekday train scheduled to arrive in NYC terminals between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. or depart NYC terminals between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.


Do you have to reserve a seat on LNER?

A reservation is highly recommended for pass holders, but not necessary. A free seat reservation can be made in advance or up to five minutes before a train's scheduled departure and can be cancelled should your plans change. You can make a reservation on our website or by using the LNER App or in our stations.


Can I use a super off-peak ticket on a different day?

If you need to travel on a different date, you will need to cancel your ticket and buy a new one. Your ticket is refundable (with no admin fee) if the service you planned to travel on is delayed or cancelled, and you choose not to travel.


Can I travel anytime with an off-peak single?

Off-Peak Single tickets are valid for travel on the date shown on the ticket and until 04:29 the following morning.


Can I get the next train if I miss mine Trainline?

If your connecting train is with the same Carrier as the delayed train you will be able to travel on the next available train to your destination.
