What happens to my old MagicBand when I get a new one? If you have a MagicBand from a previous trip to Walt Disney World, you will be able to use it even after the newer model has been released. You'll be able to use older MagicBands to enter the theme parks, pay for merchandise and dining, and for Disney PhotoPass.
