What happens if your card declines Stagecoach? Unfortunately, if your card is declined you can't use it on our buses for 45 days. That's because the card will be blocked within Stagecoach.

Your card may be or is due to expire and has been replaced by your card issuer. Your card may have recently been replaced by your card issuer but not yet activated. Your card may have been reported as lost or stolen and been cancelled by your card issuer.

Why is my card blocked for public transport?
If a Debit Card or Credit Card used on public transport has been flagged by a Bank or Credit Card Company as stolen or missing, or if the Card has been temporarily blocked by the Bank or Credit Card Company for any other reason, the Card's travel feature will also be temporarily blocked automatically.
