What form do I need to fill in before entering New Zealand? We ask everyone travelling to, or returning to New Zealand, to complete a New Zealand Traveller Declaration. You can do this on our website travellerdeclaration.govt.nz or by downloading the NZTD app. You'll be asked some questions about your trip and what's in your bags. Some items can't be brought into New Zealand.

Travellers and crew do not need pre-departure tests or proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter New Zealand. Check with your airline or cruise provider as they may still require proof of vaccination. If you have COVID-19 symptoms when you arrive in New Zealand by air, we encourage you to take a rapid antigen test (RAT).
