No, the Forbidden Forest Experience is a cashless site. Do I need a wand? No wands are needed to enjoy this event. You will get to cast your own patronus with one of our beautiful wands inspired by the Wizarding World.


What is the age limit for Forbidden Forest?

What is the minimum age? There is no minimum however, given it is a lit trail at night, containing magical creatures from the film series, some younger Guests might find elements a little bit spooky. We recommend that all children under the age of 12 years old be accompanied by an adult.


Is the Forbidden Forest ride scary?

The ride itself is a fun one but can be a little scary for young kids. You do get close to giant spiders and dementors. The ride also moves in almost all directions like you are flying on a broomstick so those who get motion sick might not enjoy it as much.


What to expect at the Forbidden Forest?

You will meet some of your favourite Harry Potter characters. As well as walking through a colourful forest, you can also expect to find some of your favourite magical creatures and characters in the Forbidden Forest too! You'll meet your friendly groundskeeper Hagrid along with his trusty dog Fang.


Is Forbidden Forest worth it?

To me it was a very magical place, just like the movie. An awesome imagination experience. I felt like I was in the actual Forbidden Forest. I definitely love everything about it, the food, can't start a walk without a butterbeer, it is always a must.
