What are super off peak times? Exact Super Off-Peak train times can vary across routes and train companies, but they're usually the least busy travel periods during the week. Super Off-Peak travel times are normally between around 10:00 to 15:30 and from 19:15 onwards Monday to Friday.
What are the rules for super off peak single?
Super Off-Peak Single tickets are valid for travel on the date shown on the ticket and until 04:29 the following day. If you cannot complete your journey on the same day you will be allowed to finish it the following day - see 'Break of journey' below.
Can I use a super off peak ticket on any off peak train?

So, if your outward travel date remains the same you might not need to pay an additional fare. They are sold for a specific train, at a specific day and time and with a seat reservation. Miss the train, and the tickets are no good. Only the Base ticket can be change. If you miss a train with a base ticket you have an hour (maybe 90 mins) to exchange it for a new ticket and seat reservation.
Can you get on a sold out train UK?
Your ticket is valid on any train within the time and route restrictions. Don't worry about boarding the train. Unless it's a special event, you won't be refused boarding without a reservation. The only exception is the 'Night Riviera' train from London to Penzance and Caledonian Sleeper services.
