Is Wengen or Mürren better? But if I had to make distinctions, I'd give a slight edge to Mürren for views, and for trails that start right from town; and a slight edge to Wengen for more dining and shopping choices. I've stayed in both and prefer Wengen.

In Lauterbrunnen, you'll see waterfalls galore, snowy peaks, and clouds so close you could almost reach out and touch them.
Can you see Mont Blanc from Mürren?
In good visibility conditions, even the Mont Blanc massif and the Black Forest can be seen.
How long to spend in Mürren?
In 2 days, you can easily walk around Muerren, Gimmelwald, Wengen. Great Swiss alpine villages. You also have time to gondola up to the top of the Shilthorn from Muerren. If you want to hike and/or visit the top of the Jungfrau, we're talking a bit more time.
Should we stay in Lauterbrunnen or Interlaken?
You will obviously have come to the area to see the magnificent mountain scenery...so stay in Lauterbrunnen where you will actually be in the middle of it all. Interlaken is not in the Alps and is best used as a transport hub. If you should get bored, which you won't, then Interlaken is only a 2 minute train ride away.
