Is there a bridge from Manhattan to Long Island City?

Is there a bridge from Manhattan to Long Island City? The Queensboro Bridge, officially named the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge, is a cantilever bridge over the East River in New York City. Completed in 1909, it connects the neighborhood of Long Island City in the borough of Queens with the Upper East Side in Manhattan, passing over Roosevelt Island.

Should I walk Manhattan or Brooklyn Bridge?

I generally advise people to walk from Manhattan to Brooklyn, not vice versa, though both are of course possible. The entrance to the bridge for pedestrians is just across the street from City Hall in Manhattan.
