Is it hot inside the Eden Project?
Is it hot inside the Eden Project? The Eden Project is home to the largest indoor rainforest in the world, with over 1,000 varieties of different plants and a temperature of between 18-35 degrees celsius. It's a good idea to come to The Eden Project with layers on, as I found the rainforest biome pretty warm in comparison to the Cornish summer!
What shoes to wear at Eden Project?
A great day out. The rain forest is so hot and humid, lots of walking, with winding path ways. Make sure to wear your walking shoes.
Can I take a picnic to the Eden Project?
Eat al fresco: There are lots of places to enjoy our takeaway food or your own picnic outdoors in the sun, including the grassy Arena at the centre of the gardens, and the adjacent Orchard. Did you know that the Eden Coffee House in our Visitor Centre now has an outdoor terrace with spectacular views of the Biomes?
Can you take water into Eden sessions?
Reusable water bottles are permitted (which you are able to fill at our free water stations around the site), although we do not allow stainless steel water bottles into the Arena. We do not allow prams and pushchairs on site during Eden Sessions from 6pm onwards.
