Is Disney discontinuing MagicBands? They come in so many fun colors and designs, so it's hard to choose which one to get! MagicBands are still around and can be purchased practically anywhere at Walt Disney World including in the gift shops at all four theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs.
What is the difference between MagicBand and MagicBand plus?
MagicBand+ is rechargeable whereas MagicBand is not rechargeable (typically a 24-month lifespan). MagicBand+ is customizable for color, and vibrations, and has light-up interactions with evening entertainment like Fantasmic! and Happily Ever After.
How long will MagicBands last?

Can I use my Iphone instead of a MagicBand?
You can use your phone. Create a Magic Mobile pass within the My Disney Experience app. As long as you're using your phone to only scan in YOURSELF (meaning not you AND the other members of your party), then it should be fine. It might be slower than using a MagicBand, but it still works.
