Is an infant seat the same as a car seat?

Is an infant seat the same as a car seat? Infant/baby seats are seats for babies that sit on the floor. This includes “bouncy seats” and rockers. Important note: Infant/baby seats are not designed to protect a baby in a car crash and should never be used in a vehicle instead of a car seat.

Can you fly with a newborn?

In general, doctors recommend you wait to fly until your baby's immune system is better developed. This could be as soon as one month for full-term infants, though most doctors recommend anywhere between three months and six months.
