Is 2 nights in Capri enough? I like to stay in one place longer but if you have never been, I do think visiting Capri for two nights is a nice way to experience it for the first - you won't see as much as you could but you will certainly see and enjoy more than you would if you went for a day trip or just one night in and and out.

I agree that you would need at least 3 days in Capri, Amalfi and Positano are both great places to visit and so is Ravello. Sorrento is nice but nothing special.
