How does Make-A-Wish trip work? The wish journey starts with a referral. Make-A-Wish accepts referrals from children themselves, parents, family members, and medical professionals. Once a child is referred to Make-A-Wish, we check the eligibility criteria to make sure the child is eligible for receiving a wish.

Wish families stay at Give Kids The World Village, which is located about 30 minutes from Disney. Give Kids The World has rides, activities, and a pool. You might want to plan a “park-free” day or afternoon halfway through the trip to relax there.
Is there alcohol on Disney Wish?
Yes, the Disney Cruise Line Alcohol Policy states that guests ages 21 and older are allowed to bring no more than two bottles of unopened wine or champagne onboard. The bottles may not be larger than 750 ml. Alternatively, guests may choose to bring six 12-ounce beers instead of wine or champagne.
