How do you ride Tron during soft opening? During the soft opening, park visitors will have the option of accessing the ride by using virtual queue or purchasing Individual Lightning Lane entry. The virtual queue, which is available through the My Disney Experience app, will open at 7 a.m. and at 1 p.m.
Can you get two Virtual Queues in a day?
Each Guest can request to enter the virtual queue no more than once per day during regular park hours. Before requesting to join a virtual queue, Guests must have valid admission and may need a theme park reservation depending on the type of admission and date of their visit. Is Tron a smooth ride?
It's extremely smooth, like EPCOT's Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, without the spinning. And like EPCOT's Test Track, part of the track goes outdoors. The indoor portion is relatively dark, but not scary. It's thrilling.

Joining the virtual queue does not guarantee the ability to participate in the experience. Boarding groups for a virtual queue are limited, subject to availability, and are not guaranteed. Not all boarding groups may be called to return, based on availability of the experience.
Is Tron better at night?
A big part of the TRON Lightcycle Run experience is the outdoor canopy. Not only does the attraction look better at night, but the story makes a bit more sense. This is definitely one attraction that is superior at night.
