How do I know if my Skyliner is open?
- Disney Skyliner will be available each day one hour before Early Theme Park Entry begins at EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios.
- Disney Skyliner will close each day 90 minutes after EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios closes.
Does the Skyliner drop you off inside EPCOT?
When you take the Disney Skyliner to EPCOT, you will exit the Disney Skyliner at the EPCOT International Gateway. The EPCOT International Gateway is located in EPCOT'S World Showcase area. If you are planning to board the monorail from EPCOT, then you would need to pass through EPCOT and exit the front entrance.
Can you eat on Disney Skyliner?
Everywhere You Can Dine on the Skyliner. Just like with the buses, boats, and monorail, anyone visiting Walt Disney World can use the Disney Skyliner. And, you don't have to be staying at one of the Skyliner resorts to ride it, either.
Does the Skyliner close for wind?
Even when there are posted open hours for Skyliner, operations may temporarily cease for weather issues, notably high winds or severe lightning. If the Skyliner is not operating, you can use alternate transportation such as WDW's free bus system.
How long will the Skyliner be closed?
This ride in the sky transports you between several Disney hotels, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios. But starting on January 16th through January 21st, 2024, the Skyliner will be closed for routine maintenance. We're pretty glad about this as we swing and travel way up in the air!
What to do when Skyliner is down?
In the event that the Disney Skyliner is closed at any point during your trip, the Walt Disney World Bus Service will be running to ensure you get to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. These buses can also accommodate passengers in wheelchairs. Disney is all about accessibility!
Can you ride the Skyliner for free?
Once you are on Disney Property, transportation is complimentary on buses, monorails, boats, and of course the Disney Skyliner. If staying on property, feel free to hop on transportation and make any needed transfers to get to a resort on the Skyliner route to start your adventure.
Can you ride the Skyliner without staying at a resort?
Anyone can ride the Skyliner; you don't have to be staying at a Disney Resort. Probably the easiest way to catch a ride on the Skyliner (if you aren't staying at a resort with a station or if you are staying offsite) is to board at either Hollywood Studios or Epcot.
