How do I add another MagicBand? Use the menu button in the lower right corner to select MagicBands and More and then Pair your MagicBand+. If instead, you purchased MagicBands online from shopDisney or in a retail shop, you'll need to link them to your account using the ID numbers on the underside of the band.
Can you reuse old MagicBand at Disney?
Yes, Guests can reuse their Disney band. Depending on how much time has passed since they initially used the Disney band, the ability to receive Disney PhotoPass attraction videos and select attraction photos may be limited.

To make sure your band is linked correctly you can log in to your My Disney Experience App. To get there log in, and find the Magic Band option in the drop down menu. If you have a Magic Band from a previous trip that you would like to use, you can make sure that the band you have is still linked to your account.

It is perfectly acceptable to reuse an old MagicBand on your next trip. The official word from Walt Disney World is that the battery life of a band is expected to be about 2 years. However, I personally have older ones that are still going strong! So, bring your MagicBands and try it!

If you have a MagicBand from a previous trip to Walt Disney World, you will be able to use it even after the newer model has been released. You'll be able to use older MagicBands to enter the theme parks, pay for merchandise and dining, and for Disney PhotoPass.
Do MagicBands work at both parks?
Yes! You can use a Disney World MagicBand+ at Disneyland and on a Disney Cruise. However, older technology, such as the original MagicBand or MagicBand 2, is not supported at Disneyland or on a Disney Cruise. You can reassign MagicBands to other guests at Disneyland, but you cannot reassign them at Disney World.
