Do cell phones work in the Chunnel?
Yes, you can receive phone signals. Not because of good antenna design (a thick concrete wall can stop a phone signal, you have no chance through vast amounts of rock and seawater) but because they have installed repeaters the length of the Chunnel.
Do most trains in Europe have Wi-Fi?

Do train toilets empty on the track?
While modern trains won't litter the tracks with human excrement, the traditional method did just that. This is what was known as a hopper toilet. It could either be a simple hole in the floor (also known as a drop chute toilet) or a full-flush system.
Is there a toilet on the Eurostar?

Are there toilets in the carriages? Yes there are but we would recommend you go before boarding the train, as there is a limited number to use while travelling and you will be with a large number of other passengers.

When does Eurostar check-in open? Check-in for Eurostar journeys opens an hour and 15 minutes before departure. We recommend that you arrive at least 90 minutes prior to your train leaving so you can have a stress-free check-in.
What items are not allowed on Eurostar?
Any other weapon made, adapted or intended for use as an offensive weapon. Alcohol that is in excess of our alcohol policy. Any item of furniture. Perishable items such as meat, fish and dairy products.
