Does the minion ride have 3D glasses? The ride has removed 3D glasses in Summer 2019. It is now a 2D version. In the first preshow, the 3D Goggles info is replaced by a Life as a minion documentary filled with a montage of various Despicable Me and Minions clips.
Why did they remove 3D from minion mayhem?
Running a media-based attraction in 2D rather than 3D saves a park the cost of buying, cleaning, collecting and (potentially) replacing thousands of 3D glasses.

Reviewed by ImWhyTheRumIsGone Review Date: 08/05/2021 Fun theme, but it's one of the nauseating sim rides. Even without 3D, it's really jarring. If the minion dance party is happening, it's a lot of fun when you're exiting. Worth a ride, but not multiple times.
