As WW indicated, our beaches are full with them so a unique identifier could be helpful. We have been to HIlton Head twice this year and tents and Shibumi's are allowed. North Myrtle Beach is a different story. They do not allow tents or Shibumi's from Memorial day to 2nd week in September.

Tents and shading devices became plentiful at peak times and locations that they blocked access and visibility to the water's edge, affecting public safety and everyone's enjoyment of our beach. So, the City of Myrtle Beach created a shading device policy and implemented it in 2014.
