How long is zipline at San Diego safari?
You will experience breathtaking views of the San Diego Zoo Safari Park and its expansive savanna habitats below as you “fly” approximately two-thirds of a mile, landing safely near our Roar & Snore campground.
Can you do Safari Park and San Diego Zoo in one day?
The distance is about 35 miles. I don't recommend that you try to visit both parks on the same day. If you are short on time during your San Diego vacation, I would choose one or the other.

Each day, our Keepers assess the weather conditions and how our animals may be impacted, which means in inclement weather, some animals may not be visible on Safari for their own safety. Depending on the severity of the weather, other animals may need to be kept inside.

The Africa Tram is an exciting expedition, with safari tour vehicles and our diverse wildlife creating a relaxing adventure. The ride path takes you around some of the savanna habitats, giving you a chance to connect with wildlife on a closer level. Approximately 25 minutes.
