Do you need Global Entry if you have clear?

However, you would need to pair CLEAR with TSA PreCheck or Global Entry to speed through customs or airport security without taking off personal items.
Do I really need Global Entry?
If you regularly travel outside of the United States, you should consider Global Entry. Not only will you get all of the benefits of TSA PreCheck, but you'll also be able to access an expedited customs process when you return to the United States after traveling abroad.
Does Heathrow use Global Entry?
Forget GE. It has nothing to do with entry to the UK. Assuming you are a US citizen you are eligible to use the ePassport gates at Heathrow. You most likely do not need a visa, and EXP and GE have nothing to do with UK immigration.
How do you use CLEAR at the airport?
At participating airports, look for the CLEAR Plus Lane at TSA security checkpoints and one of our friendly CLEAR Ambassadors will greet you! At the CLEAR pod, you'll scan your boarding pass, confirm your identity with your eyes or fingerprints, and then we'll escort you straight to standard physical screening.
