Do you need a guide to ski Aiguille du Midi? There are several different ski routes that are possible from the Classic Vallee Blanche to the steeper routes of the Grand Envers du Plan. If you wish to ski the Vallee Blanche or any of the runs from the Aiguille du Midi, we require that you ski at least one day of off-piste with the guide beforehand.

How long does a visit to the Aiguille du Midi take? An average trip on the summit lasts around two to three hours, although it can be closer to five if you're taking your time looking around. You can take as long as you like on a visit although in winter the last lift up is at 15:00 and the last decent at 16:30.
How long is the trip via gondola from Aiguille du Midi to Helbronner Point?
A one-way trip takes 30 minutes in a four-person gondola. Its operation is very weather dependant – if the wind is too strong, or if there is poor visibility, the gondola will close. Once at the far side you can connect on foot to the new Skyway Monte-Bianco (Helbronner) cable car.
