Do most dorms have private bathrooms? Different dorms have different accomondations. The current trend is for each room or a suite of several rooms to have a bathroom. It is highly unlikely that you will see private bathrooms for each student. Some schools have re-modeled their older dormitories to have fewer students sharing a bathroom.

Students cannot be subjected to unreasonable search and seizure by the police even when living in on-campus housing. Students hold the right to deny entrance to their dorm room, to require the law official to have a warrant, and to require the officials to have probable cause to obtain the warrant.
How often should I shower in college?
While there is no ideal frequency, experts suggest that showering several times per week is plenty for most people (unless you are grimy, sweaty, or have other reasons to shower more often). Short showers (lasting three or four minutes) with a focus on the armpits and groin may suffice.
