Do ICE seats recline? Both 1st and 2nd class coaches have ultra-comfortable reclining seats equipped with folding tables, arm rests, power sockets and an audio system featuring various entertainment programs. ICE trains are fully air-conditioned and extremely quiet.

Food & drink ICE1, ICE2, ICE3 class 407, & 7-car ICE-T trains have a proper restaurant car with a restaurant at one end and a bar area at the other. ICE3 class 403 & 406 and 5-car ICE-T trains have a bistro car with a cafe-bar area and small 12-seat restaurant area.

How do you order food on the ice train?
Take a seat at any table and the waiter will take your order. At the other end of the car is a counter where you can buy snacks, drinks & food to take back to your seat. In 1st class, staff take you food & drink orders and serve you at your seat, you don't need to visit the restaurant.
