Can you stay overnight in National Trust car parks?
Can you stay overnight in National Trust car parks? Parking your campervan or motorhome Campervans that are used for travel are welcome in our car parks but aren't allowed to stay overnight. Unfortunately, we're unable to welcome caravans and coaches. Please be aware that many of our car parks are located on very narrow and sometimes steep roads.
Can I park overnight in Oak Park?
Overnight parking is available in the Holley Court Parking Garage on Ontario Street just east of Harlem Avenue, and in The Avenue Parking Garage on North Boulevard, just east of Oak Park Avenue. Fees are up to $16 per day. These locations also can be a convenient option for vacation or guest parking.

The state doesn't put too many restrictions on parking lots either. While you should always be discreet, Michigan law allows for overnight parking at rest areas. A few cities also limit private businesses — like Walmart — from allowing it in their parking lots.
