One of my favorite views in all of Walt Disney World Resort can be glimpsed from the monorail as it leaves the station at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Seeing Cinderella Castle sparkling in the early morning sun from the window of the monorail is practically perfect in every way!
Where does Magic Kingdom Monorail take you?
The Resort Monorail runs a continuous loop from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the Polynesian resort, the Grand Floridian resort, the Magic Kingdom, and the Contemporary resort, in that order. The Epcot Monorail runs back and forth between the Transportation and Ticket Center and Epcot.

Monorail is typically faster however depending on the crowds and if you are close to the dock, a leisurely boat ride early in the morning might be just the right way to go, dropping you off directly in front of the entrance.

The first area that comes to mind is Disney Springs. This is a large shopping, entertainment, and nightlife area at Walt Disney World. While of course you would need to pay for shopping or dining, you can walk around the area with no admissions charge. There is also often entertainment happening for free outside.
