Can you have a backpack at Disney Springs?
Suitcases, bags, coolers or backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24 long x 15 wide x 18 high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are not allowed in any theme park or water park. Loose or dry ice is not permitted in these containers. Re-usable ice packs are recommended.
Are buses from Disney Springs free?
All Guests have complimentary access to our network of monorails, buses and boats. If you would like to visit multiple parks, enjoy a nice dinner at one of the Disney Resort hotels or shop at Disney Springs, you can leave your car parked in the theme park lot and use our transportation network.
Do you need a parking pass for Disney Springs?
Standard self-parking is complimentary at the Disney Springs area. Parking is available in surface parking lots and in 3 parking garages with direct access to Disney Springs.
How does Disney know if you are staying on property?
The My Disney Experience app does indeed recognize which Guests are staying on property based on the information on your reservation. Your friends who are staying off-site can purchase Individual Lightning Lane selections when the park opens for the day.
Can you spend a full day at Disney Springs?
Disney Springs often gets overlooked when Guests are planning their Walt Disney World Resort itinerary and then they do not have enough time to enjoy everything this area has to offer. Yes, you can absolutely spend an entire day at Disney Springs!
Can non hotel guests use Disney transportation?
Yes. All Guests have complimentary access to our network of monorails, buses and boats. How to get free parking at Disney?
If you are a Guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you receive complimentary standard parking at Disney theme parks for the length of your Resort stay. You must present valid Disney Resort hotel identification to enter the parking lots.
How to get to Magic Kingdom without a car?
You can take a direct monorail to the Magic Kingdom, or the resorts monorail, which stops at the Magic Kingdom and all of the Magic Kingdom area resorts (more info on that below). There is also a monorail that goes directly to and from EPCOT. Monorail rides to the parks will take about 10-15 minutes.
Can you use Disney transportation if not staying on property?
All guests visiting Walt Disney World and Disneyland are able to use Disney's complimentary resort transportation. You do not have to be staying at a Disney owned or operated Resort hotel in order to take advantage of any of the transportation that is available including buses, monorails, boats, and ferries.
