Can you log simulator hours? Yes. All simulator time can be logged. However, the FAA sets limits on how much simulator time can be applied towards a specific certificate or rating.
When can you log simulated instrument time?
(1) A person may log instrument time only for that flight time when the person operates the aircraft solely by reference to instruments under actual or simulated instrument flight conditions.
Do airlines care about simulator time?
