Can you link and unlink MagicBands? You can reassign a MagicBand from a ticket or pass to a different one in your app. You can also unlink it from your account and link it to a different account. This is different from Disney World, where the MagicBand is linked to a person and cannot be unlinked.

To make sure your band is linked correctly you can log in to your My Disney Experience App. To get there log in, and find the Magic Band option in the drop down menu. If you have a Magic Band from a previous trip that you would like to use, you can make sure that the band you have is still linked to your account.

Under all of your MagicBands you are going to see the option to Activate/Deactivate depending on the status and the option to Report Lost. If your MagicBand is currently deactivated, you'll just select the Activate button and it will be good to go.
