Can you drive on Robert Moses beach? Democrat Point is situated at the western tip of Robert Moses State Park. This remote location is a favorite among off-roading enthusiasts due to its challenging terrain and breathtaking views of the Fire Island Inlet. A NYS 4x4 Beach Vehicle Permit is required for access to this beach.
