Can I wear my Navy uniform on a plane? The NWUs are not authorized for wear during commercial travel (e.g. airlines, railways, or bus, etc.) but are authorized on commuter transportation (e.g. Metrorail, Metro bus, Commuter bus, VRE, Ferries).
Can I wear my military uniform at the airport?
Personnel traveling by Military or contract transportation will wear the uniform prescribed in applicable orders. 6. Personnel supporting movements and/or picking up personnel at Civilian airports will not wear military uniforms.
