Can I walk a runDisney race? Anyone not able to maintain the pace may be picked up and transported to the Family Reunion Area at any point along the course. Is this race walker-friendly? Yes, walkers are welcome in a runDisney event. Just be sure to maintain the minimum-pacing requirement for the race you're participating in when walking.

Of course, your family and friends are welcome to join you at the Expo too! Your Check-in Pass will be available to you beginning October 30, 2023 through your runDisney account. We will provide the latest updates to transportation leading up to our race weekend.
Can you walk around Disney for free?
While of course you would need to pay for shopping or dining, you can walk around the area with no admissions charge. There is also often entertainment happening for free outside. Disney Springs is along a lovely waterfront that you can take in and enjoy.

Yes, walkers are welcome in a runDisney event. Just be sure to maintain the minimum-pacing requirement for the race you're participating in when walking. If you fall short, no worries! Our shuttle will be along to pick you up at a safe location along the course.
