Can I use my National Trust membership without a card? No. All our members have scannable cards and in order to gain entry to our places you need to show your membership card to a member of staff and at places with barcode scanners we will need to scan the card to count your entry.

Is National Trust membership worth the money?

A National Trust membership is absolutely worth it. With over incredible 500 sites to visit for free throughout the country it is easy to see how the National Trust has amassed so many members! We have now renewed our membership and are looking forward to seeing what places we're able to visit in 2022.


Can a couple use National Trust family pass?

A family day pass allows two adults and up to three children or one adult and up to four children to enter one of 500 National Trust sites on a one-time basis. You don't need a family to use the pass as you can use it alone or in a couple as well.


Can other people use my National Trust membership?

If your membership card says “+ guest” on it, then you can bring a guest with you. Otherwise, they'll need to either pay to visit or also become a National Trust member. *Please note that the “+ guest” option is likely only applicable if you were a lifetime member before January 2023.
