Can I use a card instead of MagicBand? For guests who decide not to use MagicBands, you can ask for a Key to the World Card either when you check-in to your resort or go to Guest Services before entering your first park. Each guest will have their own card, and these cards are totally free. Cards feature a variety of designs.

You can use your phone. Create a Magic Mobile pass within the My Disney Experience app. As long as you're using your phone to only scan in YOURSELF (meaning not you AND the other members of your party), then it should be fine. It might be slower than using a MagicBand, but it still works.
How many hours do MagicBands last?
MagicBand+, introduced in 2022, has a rechargeable battery and comes with a charging cable. Battery life is estimated to last 1 to 3 days between charges. It is recommended that you charge your band each night during your vacation.
Should I bring cash or card to Disney?
With the various non-cash payment options across all of Walt Disney World, some of you may be tempted to leave home without cash or your ATM card. While you could technically get away with this, we recommend you bring limited cash with you. There are still a handful or so things you can only pay for with cash.

Already have a MagicBand+ or MagicBand from a previous visit? You can reuse your current MagicBand+ or MagicBand. Depending on how much time has passed, battery health may limit your ability to receive Disney PhotoPass attraction videos and select attraction photos with MagicBand.
