Can I get a 16 Oyster if I'm 19? On the Tube, DLR, London overground and some National Rail services 16-19 year olds pay half adult-rate oyster single fares and child-rate travelcard season ticket. In order for 16-19 year olds in full time education to qualify for the free and reduced travel they must apply for a 16+ oyster photocard.
