Can I add Railcard to Trainline app? You can now buy the following digital Railcards with us and store them directly in your Trainline app. Age-based Railcards are great for students, young professionals and seniors. Railcards are great for friends, couples and family members. You don't need to be related or in a relationship to use them.
Can I take a screenshot of my Railcard?
Digital railcards must be shown in the app, screenshots are not acceptable - so the fact it's a fake will be easily spotted.
How do I link my Railcard to Trainline?
To view your Railcard in the app, you'll need to first log in to your account with the same email address you purchased with. After logging in, navigate to the Account tab and tap on Your Railcards to bring up the list of Railcards you've purchased. Then tap on Download Railcard to download it to your device.
Why isn t my Railcard working on the app?
If your download code isn't working, it is likely that it has expired or has been used to activate your Railcard on too many devices. You can only store your digital Network Railcard on a maximum of 2 devices, so you may need to remove it from an existing device to add it to a new one.
Do all railcards need a photo?
Under 'Choose the type of Railcard you would like' you can select if you want a 'Digital' or a 'Plastic' Railcard. You will be asked to provide a digital passport-style photo if you select 'Digital'. You do not need a photo if you have ordered a 'Plastic' Network Railcard.
