Are tote bags allowed at Knotts? Knott's Scary Farm Bag Policy: Clear plastic bags smaller than 12? x 12? x 6? as well as non-clear wristlets or clutches no larger than 5?x 8?x 2? are allowed at Knott's Scary Farm. All bags are subject to search prior to entry.


What should I wear to Knotts?

With a lot of asphalt and not much shade, hats and sunscreen are essential in the Southern California sun at Knott's. Layered clothing is helpful in the cool mornings and warmer afternoons. Bring something to secure your hat while on the faster rides, or wear one you can stuff into a pocket.


Can I bring a backpack to Knotts?

No outside food items are allowed to be brought inside Knott's Theme Park (or Soak City water parks). Please note that all backpacks, purses and bags will be inspected upon entrance at the Main Gate. Small, insulated coolers, no larger than 1'x1'x1' and filled only with water are allowed.


How much is parking at Knotts?

Parking lots open approximately one hour before theme park opening. The Metered Lot by the California Marketplace offers complimentary parking for up to 1 hour. Each additional half hour or portion thereof is $10 with a maximum daily charge of $60. All lost tickets will be charged $60.

Is there a dress code? Costumes, masks and face painting are not allowed to ensure that there is no confusion between the Knott's Scary Farm monster actors and guests.

Items not allowed in the park include radios, stereos, luggage, and large coolers (Larger than 1'x1'x1'). Wagons used as strollers are allowed. All guests, bags, parcels and other items are subject to inspection, including metal detection or other screening measures.

Due to rider restraint requirements, guests of exceptional size may not be accommodated on some of our attractions. This may apply, but not be limited to, guests who exceed 6' 2 or those who exceed 250 pounds (some attractions may have lower weight restrictions), have a 46 waistline or 54 chest.


Does Knotts take your picture?

One of our professional photographers will take your picture at the front gate before you enjoy an entire day of fun in the park. Get your picture taken with your favorite characters at the Peanuts Meet & Greet!


Can an 18 year old go to Knotts alone?

Knott's Berry Farm's chaperone policy goes into effect after multiple teen fights. Effective Friday all guests 17 years and younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21-years-old.


Is Knotts worth it?

They have rotating events, a lot like Disney, and fun rides. Pretty much anything you buy at Knott's, if you bought it at any other amusement park or theme park, would be much more expensive at another park. Knots berry is the only park worth the admission is socal.


Do they sell alcohol at Knotts?

After wandering through the classic swinging saloon doors, mosey on up to the counter where the barkeep can fix you a drink. Adults can find alcoholic beverages including beer and wine, while younger cowpokes may fancy a sarsaparilla or boysenberry punch. Be sure to ask your bartender about any “signature” drinks!


Is there a dress code at Knotts?

For guest safety, shirts, shorts/pants and shoes must be worn at all times, including entering and leaving the park.

Knott's Scary Farm is the most terrifying Halloween event of the SoCal theme park Halloween season. The Knott's Berry Farm Halloween Haunt was the original theme park Halloween event in the early 1970s that launched them all.
