Are there any Disney resorts with monorail and Skyliner? The resorts located on the monorail line are Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The resorts located on the Skyliner are Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Pop Century, Art of Animation, and Disney's Riviera Resort.


What hotels does the Skyliner go to?

This grand, state-of-the-art gondola system conveniently connects Disney's Hollywood Studios and International Gateway at EPCOT to the following Disney Resort hotels:

Can you take the Skyliner to the monorail to Magic Kingdom?

Important note: You can't get to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, or Disney Springs from the Disney Skyliner.


Does the monorail go to Polynesian resort?

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is on the Monorail route and the station is located on the second floor of the great Ceremonial House. The Resort monorail stops at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Contemporary Resort and the Ticket and Transportation Center as well.


Does the monorail go to Animal Kingdom?

There are no Monorail stops at the Animal Kingdom theme park. Still, resort guests can use Disney World's complimentary bus transportation to travel there.


Can you ride monorail if not staying at Disney resort?

Even if you're not staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Guests are still welcome to use Disney busses, water taxis, the Monorail, and the Disney Skyliner to get to and from the Resorts, Theme Parks, Water Parks and the shopping, dining and entertainment district of Disney Springs.


Why is Disney Skyliner closing?

For those closures, Cast Members informed us that the Skyliner was undergoing routine maintenance. So if that routine continues, we'll probably see another closure in late January 2024.


Can you ride the Disney Skyliner for free?

The Disney Skyliner transportation system opened in fall 2019 at Walt Disney World Resort and has since been taking guests on the most magical flight on earth! It joins the many wonderful, free transportation options (buses, ferryboats and monorails) that take guests around the parks, hotels and entertainment areas.


Can you walk from Skyliner to monorail?

The Disney Skyliner station at EPCOT is located at the International Gateway entrance, which is located at the back of the theme park in World Showcase. Unfortunately, there's no way to walk between these two stations without walking through EPCOT.


How long is the wait for Disney Skyliner?

Are there long lines to board Skyliner? During the morning and evening rush lines can be as long as 15 to 20 minutes at the Caribbean Beach station. Transportation at Walt Disney World whether you're waiting for a bus, monorail, boat or gondola, will usually be about 20 minutes when the parks are opening and closing.


Can you ride the Skyliner without staying at a resort?

Anyone can ride the Skyliner; you don't have to be staying at a Disney Resort. Probably the easiest way to catch a ride on the Skyliner (if you aren't staying at a resort with a station or if you are staying offsite) is to board at either Hollywood Studios or Epcot.


How to get on Skyliner for free?

There are no tickets required for the Disney Gondolas either, just walk up to the station, get in line and get in. In fact, riding the Skyliner is one of our favorite Free Things to Do in Walt Disney World!
